Among the key maneuvering capabilities of Seyiton transfer carts are 360° rotation for flexible movement in all directions and crab movement, which allows the cart to slide vertically or diagonally for easy access in confined spaces. In total, the carts offer eight different steering modes.
Four-Wheel Steering Capability
The 4-wheel steering system (Omniwheel) is an innovative technology that allows each wheel to be independently steered, providing exceptional maneuverability and flexibility. This system is the foundation for enabling advanced motion features such as crab movement and 360° rotation.
Crab Movement
One of the most distinctive features of Seyiton transfer carts is their ability to move sideways—known as crab movement. This capability is made possible by the independent steering of all four wheels. Crab movement allows the cart to easily navigate tight spaces or warehouses with complex layouts. For instance, while moving through a corridor, the cart can shift sideways without turning, enabling quick and efficient loading or unloading of goods. This provides a major advantage in facilities where space is limited.
360° Rotational Steering
Thanks to their 360-degree steering capability, enabled by the independent control of each wheel, Seyiton transfer carts can perform a full rotation around their own axis and move effortlessly in any direction. This feature is especially beneficial in confined or intricate areas, as the cart can move forward, backward, sideways, or diagonally—and even rotate in place when needed. This makes it much easier to position loads precisely, navigate narrow aisles, and change direction in complex layouts.
