KuzeyStar Shipyard requested a special transport system to ensure the safe and efficient transfer of heavy and wide plates to the production line for shipbuilding, maintenance, and repair services. Considering the width of the plates to be transported, a customized system equipped with +1500 mm expansion arms was developed. This solution was designed to provide operational convenience and efficiency in the shipbuilding process.
The transfer cart, with a carrying capacity of 30 tons, operates at a speed of 18 m/min under load, enabling the fast and safe handling of heavy plates. Thanks to its Vulkollan-coated wheels, the cart offers a quiet and durable performance, while its multi-steering capability ensures high maneuverability in confined spaces. The battery-powered energy system eliminates cable restrictions, allowing greater mobility. Expansion arms ensure the balanced and secure transport of wide plates while enhancing operational flexibility.
Equipped with advanced safety measures such as a laser area scanner, flashing warning lights, and an 85 dB siren, this CE-certified transfer cart guarantees maximum safety at every stage of the production process.
