We developed a 15-ton capacity transfer cart to address the narrow-space transport needs of a steel profile manufacturer. By combining high maneuverability, an integrated hydraulic lifting system, and a customized transport stand, the vehicle brings speed, safety, and ergonomics to profile handling, delivering critical operational gains in the field.

Prior to this project, profile transport operations at the customer’s site were carried out manually using forklifts. This method led to various issues, including prolonged transport times, increased occupational safety risks, and insufficient maneuverability in tight working areas. Specifically, there was a need for a specialized solution capable of safely transporting high-tonnage loads within narrow aisle spacing.

The 15-ton transfer cart we produced can move effortlessly in confined spaces thanks to its multi-wheel steering system. With the integrated hydraulic lift mechanism and a stand developed specifically for profiles, loads can be safely lifted and transported by a single operator. Thanks to the new-generation independent suspension system, the vehicle adapts highly to ground irregularities. All design and analysis processes were conducted considering the customer’s production scenarios and physical limitations; the vehicle was developed entirely tailored to the specific need and was successfully commissioned.
